Primary Job Functions: Residential HVAC Consultants are responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and achieving weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals. As a Sales Residential HVAC Consultant, you should work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.

Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, rotating weekends and as needed for emergencies

Pay Scale: Base, plus commission!

Required Qualifications:       

  • The ability to quickly build relationships
  • An understanding of basic Residential HVAC systems and the ability to accurately provide information in replacement opportunities
  • The ability to consultatively ask questions to develop GAP's or customers needs and provide solutions.
  • The drive to continually seek education to keep current on all the Rebates, Incentives and Financing options
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent verbal, writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated & Highly organized with the ability to work independently
  • Time management, organization and presentation skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comfort Consultant is responsible for maintaining non-work schedule in Pyramid's Payroll management system (doctor's appointments, training, etc.)
  • Timely and accurate follow up and completion of Pyramid provided sales leads.
  • Please no rescheduling appointments.  (barring an emergency)
  • Comfort Consultant is expected to maintain excellent documentation in Pyramid's lead tracking system which includes but is not limited to new leads, work orders, customer information, estimate details, communication, paperwork, and job packets.
  • Pyramid generates weekly leads developed from marketing department and the Consultant is responsible for closing a minimum of 35% of these leads as well as generating additional external leads and networking opportunities to increase your sales lead funnel
