Work Hours: Full Time, Monday through Friday

Pay Scale: Base plus Commission!

Primary Job Functions: Account Managers are responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and achieving weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals. As a Sales Account Manager, you should work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships.

Required Qualifications:      

  • Ability to sell in a consultative manner with education in mind
  • Ability to inform and educate customers on features and benefits of equipment and indoor air quality products
  • Ability to inform and offer all customers rebates, incentives, and finance options
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent verbal, writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently
  • Time management, organization and presentation skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • With a high level of competence and customer service, meet monthly and yearly sales goals of Pyramid Heating and Cooling by bidding and selling new construction HVAC installations.
  • Develop and nurture new customer base using good communication and proven selling skills.
  • Communicate with team members to provide thoughtful assessment and selection of projects to be bid including study of bidding documents for scope, compatibility and alignment with company goals.
  • Prepare quality estimates using company software, estimating forms and procedures.
  • Preselect qualified sub-contractors and vendors for successful bid projects.
  • Provide orientation of projects with purchasing and Project Manager.
  • Review contracts making sure pricing is correct, terms and conditions of contracts are correct.
  • Regularly check with builder regarding start dates of project(s) and communicate to sales coordinator until job is sold and project has been assigned to Project Manager for completion.
  • Responsible for reaching out to the sales coordinator(s) to trigger on-site meeting and the pre-con meeting.
  • Self-sufficient in terms of paperwork, well organized and the ability to effectively communicate well with our installation and service team.
  • Follow up on Pyramid-provided leads
  • Pyramid will generate an undetermined number of weekly leads and Account Manager will be responsible for continued business development to generate leads and networking opportunities to increase your sales lead funnel.
  • Account Manager will be expected to participate in various trade-shows and other networking opportunities designed to enhance and advance sales opportunities.
  • Complete job packets submitted in a timely manner (written process and procedure to be provided and followed).
  • Account Manager will be responsible to maintain employee provided car, equipment, and uniforms in good working condition.
  • Contact and follow up on accounts that are past due to help with accounts receivable
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
