Residential Sales Consultant

Primary Job Functions: To give exceptional customer service, to be self-sufficient in terms of paperwork, well organized and the ability to effectively communicate well with our installation and service team.

Work Hours:7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, rotating weekends and as needed for emergencies

Pay Scale: Commission Structure TBD

Required Qualifications:    

  • Ability to sell in a consultative manner with education in mind
  • Ability to inform and educate customers on features and benefits of equipment and indoor air quality products
  • Ability to inform and offer all customers rebates, incentives, and finance options
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent verbal, writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to work independently
  • Time management, organization and presentation skills

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a schedule to Comfort Consultant of availability for sales calls
    • Comfort Consultant is responsible for maintaining non-work schedule in S2000 (doctor's appointments, training, etc.)
  • Follow up on Pyramid-provided leads, per the schedule provided by the Comfort Consultant
    • Rescheduling appointments is not acceptable (barring an emergency)
  • Comfort Consultant is expected to maintain excellent documentation in S2000 which includes but is not limited to new leads, work orders, customer information, estimate details, communication, paperwork, and job packets.
  • Pyramid will generate an undetermined number of weekly leads and Comfort Consultant will be responsible for continued business development to generate leads and networking opportunities to increase your sales lead funnel.

  • Home Shows
  • Lead/Networking Groups
  • Utility companies
  • Direct mail
  • Existing customer lists
  • Service customers
  • The Construction Monitor
  • Homebuilders Association
  • Yard Signs
  • Door Hangers, Brochures, Clips, Business Cards, Referrals
  • Comfort Consultant will be expected to participate in various trade-shows and other unpaid networking opportunities designed to enhance and advance sales opportunities.
  • Maintain a minimum monthly sales goal of $60,000 during the first year with a minimum close ratio of 35%.
  • After the first year, maintain annual sales goals which increase by 25%/per year and achieve a minimum close ratio of 45%
  • Complete job packets submitted in a timely manner (written process and procedure to be provided and followed).
  • Comfort Consultants will be responsible to maintain employee provided car, equipment, and uniforms in good working condition.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
